All tourists traveling to Cancun must have a passport. You will have to apply in person at a passport agency, or an acceptance facility (typically post offices
and county recorder offices).

To apply, you will need:
• An official
birth certificate
(it will have a raised seal).

the State Department web site.
• Completed form DS-11.
You can fill out the form online, then
print it; or download
a blank copy.
• Two passport photographs.

According to the Department of State, processing
time is 4 to 6 weeks from the date of application.
Expedited service is available for an additional $60 fee. Overnight delivery
is available for $14.85.
Ths service is reported to take
