Very nice, isolated beaches, but you have to
know where to go (shown on the Cancun map).

Transportation

Taxis are available if you are staying at major hotels. Otherwise you'll need a rental car, scooter,
or have a taxi wait for you.

Nightlife

Only entertainment at the all-inclusive hotels.

Hotels

There are two all-inclusive hotels in Isla Blanca, and one at the north end of Puerto Juarez. In Puerto Juarez there are a few very basic, economy hotels.

Restaurants

There are only two public restaurants in Isla Blanca.
Both are very rustic.

Tours & activities

The area is famous for fly-fishing on the lagoon.
There are also two horses, a few personal watercraft,
and ATV's for rent (all shown on the Cancun map).

Atmosphere

This is as laid-back as it gets.

Who visits

Very few tourists visit this area. The ones who do visit are an eclectic mix. You have the rich in the new luxury resorts, and just down the road are tourists sleeping in very basic thatched-roof huts. You'll also find a few adventurous tourists and those going fly-fishing in the lagoons
Cancun map and want to explore the area.
