seaweed in the shallows. There is so much seaweed,
that they rake up huge piles early each morning.

Transportation
Major resorts will have taxis available in front of the hotel.If you stay in Punta Bete, Paamul, Xpu-Ha, or Tankah,
you may have to call for a taxi (it's probably best to have
a rental car).
Colectivo vans drive up-and-down the highway and will
pick you up unless they are already full.

Nightlife
The all-inclusive resorts all have evening entertainment;if you choose one of the other areas you'll probably enjoy
the rhythms of the ocean and watch the stars each night.

Shopping
All-inclusive resorts have stores. In more remote areasyou may have to visit the nearest town.
Hotels
You'll either find mega all-inclusive resorts, or small hotelsand cabanas. There is very little in between.
